His price is high

New Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has been handed some bad news with regards the possibility of signing Angelo Stiller from Stuttgart.

Stiller has emerged as a target for Barcelona following Flick’s appointment, with the club still eager to bring in a new midfielder this summer.

Sky Sport Germany are reporting that Barcelona are still interested in Stiller but claim it will be very difficult to land the 23-year-old this summer.

The report claims Stuttgart consider Stiller to be “unsellable” and are only willing to discuss a sale if a bid of €50 million is received.

It’s also noted how Stiller has a contract with Stuttgart until 2027, which does not include a buyout clause, meaning Barca would have to negotiate with the Bundesliga side.

With finances still an issue for Barcelona, the news that Stiller will cost at least €50m suggests he’s another player who will prove out of reach this summer.
