Barca to offload Vitor Roque and Fati if Olmo & Williams arrive
Two in, two out at Barca?
Barcelona are reportedly keen to sign Nico Williams and Dani Olmo this summer as the club look to strengthen under Hansi Flick.
Bot players have release clauses in their contracts which mean they could well be on the move but doubts remain over whether Barca can afford to do either deal.
Yet if Barcelona do manage to find a way to sign both players it’s likely to spell bad news for both Ansu Fati and Vitor Roque.
Diario Sport are reporting that the Catalans will try to find an exit for both forwards as there will be simply too many attackers in the squad.
Vitor Roque’s future has been in doubt for some time. The fact that Lamine Yamal has now taken his No. 19 shirt also does not bode well for the young Brazilian.
Fati’s case is slightly different. He’s hoping for a second chance at Barcelona after a season on loan with Brighton, but it remains to be seen if he will be able to stay on for 2024-25.
