Hansi Flick holds talks with Thiago over Barcelona role

New Barcelona managerHansi Flick has reportedly held talks with Thiago Alcantara over a possible coaching role with the Catalan giants.
It was announced at the weekend that Thiago has decided to call time on his playing career following his release by Liverpool this summer.
Flick has held talks with Thiago with regard joining his staff and Thiago is said to be keen and eager to stay working in football, according to Què T’hi Jugues.
Thiago has been linked with a role at Barcelona previously, particularly following the arrival of Flick, as he can speak German thanks to his time with Bayern Munich.
Barcelona are thought to be keen to bring in someone who could provide a “direct link” between the manager and the dressing room and Thiago may well be a good choice.
Gerard Romero is also reporting that Thiago could be set to join Flick at Barcelona, with a decision from the former midfielder expected soon.
