WATCH: Pedri gets helping hand as he joins in Spain celebrations
The midfielder was not left out
Barcelona midfielder Pedri suffered yet another injury setback on Friday at Euro 2024 when he was forced off with a knee injury.
A poor challenge from Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos in the opening minutes of the contest ended Pedri’s involvement in the tournament at the quarter-final stage.
However, Spain went on to beat the tournament hosts 2-1 to book a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.
There were some big celebrations after the win in the dressing room, with Pedri not able to join in initially but then carried in to play his part.

Initial reports have stated that Pedri has suffered a knee sprain and further tests will now be needed to diagnose the severity of the problem. Pedri’s knee is seen to be bandaged in the video of Spain’s celebrations.
The Barcelona midfielder is not expected to play again at the tournament but will be hoping he can join in more celebrations. La Roja take on France next for a place in the final in Berlin.
