Sporting are also keen

Real Betis look set to start negotiations with Barcelona over a loan move for unwanted forward Vitor Roque.

Sporting director Manu Fajardo was spotting arriving in the city on Monday with Joaquin and Ramon Alarcon ahead of talks with the Catalans.

Betis are keen to take Vitor Roque on a season-long loan in a move which would hopefully see the forward gain some regular minutes in La Liga.

Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon are also thought to be keen on Vitor Roque but want the youngster on a permanent basis.

It’s been reported Vitor Roque is interested in a move Sporting, although it’s not clear yet if the club will be willing to match Barca’s asking price.

Barcelona are trying to ramp up exit operations this week in a bid to register players ahead of the close of the window.

Clement Lenglet and Ilkay Gundogan are also being linked with exits and may move in the final weeks of August.
