PSV’s Schouten emerges as fresh transfer target for Barca
The midfielder is being tracked
Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on PSV midfielder Jerdy Schouten ahead of a possible move next summer.
Marca and Voetbal international are both reporting that Schouten is on the club’s radar and is currently “high” on Barca’s list of potential targets.
The Catalans are said to have been keen to sign Schouten last summer but couldn’t afford to bring him in due to financial fair play issues.
Barcelona also continue to be linked with Joshua Kimmich, with the Bayern star’s future uncertain as he heads into the final year of his contract at the club.
Marca says Barca are looking at targets but will also wait and see how Marc Casado does this season after being promoted to the first team.
Marc Bernal is also an option, and started the season well, but now faces 12 months on the sidelines after sadly suffering a ruptured ACL.
