The president is feeling positive

La Liga president Javier Tebas has been asked about Barcelona’s hopes of re-registering Dani Olmo and is hopeful the Catalans will be able to make their finances work.

Olmo is only registered until the end of the year, with Barca working hard to find extra investment to allow him to play in the second half of the season.

Tebas has been asked about the situation and thinks it will be done.

“I am positive. I am optimistic. I think they will end up signing him because they always do in the end. But we will see. He is also a player that I like a lot,” he said at an event in Barcelona.

The situation will be of concern for Barcelona, particularly as we are now into December and time is starting to run out.

It’s been reported this week that Olmo will be able to leave as a free agent if he’s not registered, although there’s no suggestion that a January exit is on the cards.
