Barbastro reveal Cubarsi’s classy gesture after Copa del Rey tie
Good stuff
Barcelona teenager Pau Cubarsi is a class act on the pitch and has also shown how he’s pretty special away from the action too.
The teenager featured in Barcelona’s 4-0 win over Barbastro in the Copa del Rey on Saturday and made sure his shirt found a good home after the game.
Barbastro have revealed on social media how Cubarsi gifted his jersey to 72-year-old Barbastro volunteer Jose.
It was revealed before the match between the two sides how Jose had helped paint the stands at the stadium to ensure the ground was ready for the visit of the Catalan giants.

Mundo Deportivo note how Cubarsi, whose father is a carpenter, made sure to keep his shirt back so that he could hand it over to Jose as a thank you for all his efforts.
Barbastro clearly appreciated the gesture as they went on to show Jose with his Cubarsi shirt and the caption “Jose deserved this gift.”
