Barca send scouts to watch Wirtz and Tah against Atletico
The two are targets
Barcelona will take a check on Bayer Leverkusen duo Jonathan Tah and Florian Wirtz during tonight’s Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.
According to ESPN, the Catalans have sent scouts out to Madrid to watch the pair in action against Diego Simeone’s side.
Tah has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona on a free transfer for some time now, with some reports even claiming a deal has been “practically completed.”
It’s thought Tah will be one of four center-backs in the first-team squad for next season along with Pau Cubarsi, Ronald Araujo and Inigo Martinez.
Meanwhile, Wirtz also appears to be on the club’s radar. The attacking midfielder has openly admitted he used to dream of playing for Barca but has attracted attention from a host of clubs.
Yet signing the youngster will not be at all easy. Previous reports have suggested Leverkusen have slapped a massive price tag on Wirtz and want over €130 million.
