Hansi Flick has called up 22 players for Wednesday’s clash
The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana play the Champions League League Phase finale against Atalanta at home, and Hansi Flick has called up the following 22 players for Wednesday’s clash:
Goalkeepers: 13. Iñaki Peña, 25. Wojciech Szczesny, 31. Diego Kochen
Defenders: 2. Pau Cubarsí, 3. Alejandro Balde, 4. Ronald Araujo, 23. Jules Kounde, 24. Eric García, 32. Héctor Fort, 35. Gerard Martín
Midfielders: 6. Gavi, 8, Pedri, 14. Pablo Torre, 16. Fermín López, 17. Marc Casadó, 21. Frenkie de Jong
Forwards: 7. Ferran Torres, 9. Robert Lewandowski, 10. Ansu Fati, 11. Raphinha, 18. Pau Víctor, 19. Lamine Yamal
There are good and bad news for this one as Pedri is back after missing the weekend’s win against Valencia with a stomach bug, but there’s a new absence as Andreas Christensen has been ruled out for the next three weeks with a calf injury and joins Marc-André ter Stegen (knee), Iñigo Martínez (hamstring), Dani Olmo (calf) and Marc Bernal (knee) on the injured list.
Predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1):
Szczesny; Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsí, Balde; Casadó, Pedri; Yamal, Gavi, Raphinha; Lewandowski
The match kicks off at 9pm CET/WAT (Barcelona & Nigeria), 8pm GMT (UK), 3pm ET, 12pm PT (USA), 1.30am IST (India, Thursday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
