Christensen back in contention as Barca pass defender fit

Barcelona confirmed on Wednesday that Denmark international Andreas Christensen is finally fit and ready for selection once again.
Christensen is having a difficult season due to injury and has not featured since making his only appearance as a substitute back in August.
The Dane was ruled out for four months with an Achilles problem and then went on to pick up a calf injury in training.

However, he is now ready to play once again and will be hoping he can convince Hansi Flick to offer him minutes in a bid to get his career back on track.
Christensen also potentially has a battle on his hands to stay at Barca. The Dane has been linked with an exit this season and those rumors are likely to continue over the next few months.
Barca are well stocked for center-backs but may have to offload players if Jonathan Tah is to arrive from Bayer Leverkusen.
