Flick delivers his verdict on Fati’s performance for Barca vs Mallorca

Hansi Flick felt that Ansu Fati “had a good day” on his return to the starting XI on Tuesday in Barcelona’a 1-0 win over Real Mallorca.
Fati was a surprise name on the teamsheet as he made just his second La Liga start of the season so far.
Flick was asked about the youngster’s performance afterwards and whether he had taken a step forward after a difficult campaign so fair.
“I think so,” he told reporters. “You can see his teammates also support him. Also the fans.
“I think for him it’s a really good day today. It will help him to have confidence, more belief in himself. It is a good day for him and also for us.
“You can see all the players that came in today connected with the other players. They know what to do, how we want to play. This is a good thing to see. I am happy that everyone is connected.”
Fati’s return certainly went down well with fans and players. His name was chanted around Montjuic, while Gavi spoke of his happiness at seeing the forward play again after the victory.
