Barca and Monaco finalising one last detail in Ansu Fati transfer

Nearly done
Barcelona and Monaco are reportedly growing closer to agreeing a deal for the young forward to join the Ligue 1 club this summer.
The latest update on the proposed transfer comes from Fabrizio Romano who reports the player has everything sewn up with Monaco already.
He will move on a season-long loan with a purchase option which is thought to be around €20 million.
The only aspect now holding up the deal appears to be a negotiation over a sell-on clause being inserted into his contract as well.
Understand AS Monaco and Barça are completing the agreement for Ansu Fati.

Barcelona have made a habit of inserting such clauses into outgoing transfers in recent years in the hope of bringing in extra revenue, something that’s happened this season with Nico Gonzalez’s move from Porto to Manchester City.
The Catalans are obviously hoping to do something similar with Ansu this summer before finally signing off on a deal for the 22-year-old.
