Barcelona Femeni sealed a sixth straight league title on Sunday by beating Real Betis 9-0 at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis de Sol.
Another emphatic win for Pere Romeu’s side was enough to secure the team’s 10th league title and continue their dominance in Spain.

Ewa Pajor got things moving with the opener after just three minutes of the contest before Claudia Pina added another three minutes later to ensure it was a great start by the Catalans.
Esmee Brugts added a third before half-time to end the game as a contest and ensure the title would be staying in Barcelona.
Romeu’s side then ran riot after the break, with Pajor scoring again, Pina claiming a hat-trick, Alexia Putellas bagging a brace and Aitana Bonmati grabbing a goal on a perfect afternoon for the team.
The victory is Barca’s biggest of the season and means there will be plenty of celebrations tonight. Congratulations!
