A bit of fun on the training ground

Barcelona were in training on Saturday to prepare for their final La Liga game of the season against Athletic Club at San Mames.

During the training session there seemed to be some fun and games as footage of Wojciech Szczęsny flattening team-mate Robert Lewandowski with a punch quickly went viral.

The goalkeeper was spotted seemingly knocking his team-mate out with just one punch, while Lewandowski responded with an equally impressive dramatic fall to the floor. He then got up and aimed a punch back at his goalkeeper before Szczesny brought out a few karate kicks.

And before anyone gets worried, it was pretty obvious it was just two mates having a bit of fun at the end of a great season that has brought three trophies.

Lewandowski and Szczesny will both be hoping to start on Sunday. The striker is still hoping to pip Kylian Mbappe in the Pichichi race and is currently on 99 career goals for Barcelona.

As for Szczesny, he’s yet to confirm if he’s staying at Barcelona, meaning there’s chance tomorrow’s game could even be his last for the club.
