Barca tour on or off?! Flick’s side hit by more chaos
It’s all happening or is it?
Barcelona’s pre-season preparations hit more disarray on Thursday following news that their friendly with Vissel Kobe had been suspended due to issues with the promoter of the game.
A new update was subsequently provided by Gerard Romero, who stated the “the team will travel this afternoon and the match will be played Events have unfolded quickly, and the original plan is being maintained.”
Yet another update swiftly followed that claimed that the buses that had turned up at the Ciutat Esportiva to pick up the players to take them to the airport had then departed without anybody on board.
Vissel Kobe have also issued statement, bascially confirming that no-one knows what is going on:
“Regarding the match against FC Barcelona scheduled for Sunday, July 27, 2025, we are continuing to collect and coordinate necessary information while closely collaborating with relevant parties. However, at this time, we are not in a position to provide definitive information.
“For the many fans eagerly awaiting this match, as well as all related parties, we will continue to make every effort, and we kindly ask for your understanding. We will promptly provide updates through our club’s official website and other channels as soon as progress is made. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and kindly ask for your patience for a little while longer.”
Barcelona had been due to play Vissel Kobe on Sunday and then fly out to South Korea for games against FC Seoul and Daegu next week.
