‘It’s official!’ - Barca sign Rashford from Man Utd on season-long loan

Barcelona have announced that Marcus Rashford has signed for the club on loan for the 2025-26 season from Manchester United.
Rashford jetted into Barcelona on Sunday, had a medical on Monday morning and has now put pen to paper on his new contract.
He becomes Barcelona’s third signing of the summer transfer window, joining Joan Garcia and Roony Bardghji in signing for the Catalan giants.

Here’s the club’s official statement:
“FC Barcelona and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the loan of player Marcus Rashford until June 30, 2026. The agreement also establishes an option to purchase the English striker.
“The player signed his contract as a Barça player this Wednesday afternoon in a private ceremony attended by the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, the sporting director and other members of the board of directors.”
Rashford will now be part of Barcelona’s pre-season tour of Asia and will be hoping to make his debut for Hansi Flick’s side on the trip.
