Barcelona in a mess with new kits at start of 2025-26 season

Barcelona have unveiled new home and away kits for the 2025-26 La Liga season but ended up wearing last season’s third kit against Real Mallorca and will likely have to dust it off again at the weekend against Levante.

The Catalans two new kits both clashed with all of Mallorca’s outfits for the new campaign, forcing Barca to resort to last season’s effort, and it seems it’s the same story with Levante, according to Sport.

Barcelona do have a new third kit up their sleeves but it hasn’t been officially released just yet even though there have been plenty of leaks.

The report also claims that La Liga have rejected their request to use the new third kit against Levante as it clashes with the hosts’ home kit.

Hansi Flick’s side may therefore have to wait until they play Rayo Vallecano at the end of the month to finally show off one of their news kits in a La Liga fixture.

Yet despite the chaos, Barcelona’s shirts have been flying off the shelves. Lamine Yamal’s new No. 10 shirt has been bringing in record-breaking income after he switched to the iconic number.
