Barcelona won’t sell Inaki Pena until Wojciech Szczęsny is registered

Inaki Pena is expected to leave Barcelona this summer after slipping down the pecking order but may have to wait to seal a move away.
The stopper is currently the only senior goalkeeper fit and available for Saturday’s La Liga opener against Real Mallorca, meaning he’s going nowhere for now.
Barcelona are hoping to register Joan Garcia in time for the game but also have to register Wojciech Szczęsny’s new contract and it’s not clear yet when that will happen.
There’s a chance therefore that Pena could be on the bench against Mallorca, with Garcia in the starting XI, and Szczesny forced to watch on from the sidelines.
Barcelona are obviously hoping to resolve their registration issues soon but certainly won’t sanction a sale for Pena until everything has been secured, according to Marca.
Como have been linked with a move for the goalkeeper, while there is also believed to be interest once again from Galatasaray.
