Laporta talks Barca registrations & Ter Stegen’s injury
An update on the situation
Joan Laporta says Barcelona are making progress on registering their new signings Joan Garcia, Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji.
Barcelona have work to do to register all three in time for the new La Liga season after bringing them to the club this summer.
Laporta spoke about the situation and admitted Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s injury could help them out in that regard.
“The registrations are progressing adequately. It is better to do the work and not to air it,” he told reporters. “We do what we have to do and we are convinced that we will be able to enroll them.
“Joan Garcia’s registration does not depend on the absence of Ter Stegen. What happens is that via the withdrawal of Ter Stegen, which as you know is an important loss, it is the most direct way to make the registration.”
Laporta also says he thinks the new signings can help the team continue to be successful in the coming campaign.
“We have strengthened the team, we hope that next season will bring us success and a lot of joy,” he added.
“And indelible moments in the memory of the culers and we hope for this. In all the competitions in which we will participate we will fight to win them”.
