Lamine Yamal ruled out of Barcelona’s clash with Valencia as Hansi Flick takes aim at Spain

Lamine Yamal is set to miss Barcelona’s clash with Valencia on Sunday in La Liga due to injury.
The teenager was noticeable by his absence at training on Saturday morning, and Barcelona manager Hansi Flick confirmed the news at his pre-match press conference.
“No, he will not be available. It’s a shame. He went to the national team in pain, played and was given painkillers to play,” he told reporters.
“He played 79 minutes and 73, that’s not taking care of the players. Spain has the best players in every position. It would be worth taking care of the young players. I’m sad about the situation.
“It’s just a minor discomfort in his pubic bone. He won’t be available for the match and is doubtful for Newcastle.”
Flick clearly isn’t happy with Spain after seeing Yamal play twice for the national team over the international break despite clearly having an issue.
Yamal has featured in all three of Barcelona’s La Liga matches this season but is now sidelined, meaning Flick will have to make changes for the visit of Los Che.
