Deco wants three new signings for Barcelona in summer 2026

Barcelona are reportedly already planning for summer 2026 and want to make three signings to strengthen Hansi Flick’s squad.

According to Diario Sport, Deco is on the lookout for a left-footed center-back, a full-back and a top class striker to take over from Robert Lewandowski.

The loss of Inigo Martinez at the end of last summer was something of a shock for Barcelona and means the club are looking for an experienced left-footer, with names such as Nico Schlotterbeck and Gonçalo Inácio already having been mentioned.

Deco also wants a “powerful” full-back – after identifying this as an area where Barca are lacking especially when compared to teams such as PSG – despite having Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde in the squad.

The third potential signing as has been talking about many times already, is a new No. 9 to lead the line.

This is likely to be the most expensive acquisition and Sport claim a “big sale” may be needed to make it possible.

Julian Alvarez has been mentioned, Erling Haaland seems to be the impossible dream, while Etta Eyong, Serhou Guirassy and Karim Adeyemi have also been catching the eye of the rumor mill.
