The Champions League is back with a bang this week as the last 16 kicks off with some exciting ties across the continent.

Barcelona are up against Premier League side Newcastle in a repeat of their group game. Hansi Flick’s side ran out 2-1 winners at St James’ Park earlier in the season and face Eddie Howe’s side again over two legs this time.

The Catalans are already in England preparing for the game and face a tricky test. They’ll want to take a good result back to Camp Nou for the second leg in a week’s time.

But it’s not the only exciting fixture to look forward to this week with the best teams in Europe set to battle it out for a place in the quarter-finals. There’s bound to be plenty of drama, intrigue and potentially some upsets over the coming week or so.
