Barcelona continue to be linked with a move for Julian Alvarez in the summer transfer window as the Catalans search for a new No. 9.

However, it will not be an easy task bringing in the Atletico star. He will command a hefty fee and Atletico have been adamant he’s not for sale.

All of which has led to fresh speculation about other targets, with Mundo Deportivo claiming that Victor Osimhen is liked as a possible ‘Plan B’ for Barca.

The report highlights his impressive goalscoring record for Galatasaray – 56 goals in 70 games – but also claims his “temperamental nature” is a drawback.
