Does Ferran Torres deserve a new contract at Barcelona?
The name Ferran Torres will always elicit a reaction out of pretty much every Barcelona fan. The Spanish international has had ups and downs in his Barça career, but he’s undoubtedly been a fixture of the team since his arrival four years ago.
After a very slow start Ferran finally found some consistency under Hansi Flick, scoring 19 goals in 45 appearances in each of his two seasons with Flick as manager. He has proven to be a capable scorer but perhaps not suited to be a full-time starter, and his future is very much up in the air as he enters the final year of his contract this summer.
