The board of the Royal Spanish Football Federation accepted on Wednesday the proposal of the Spanish Footballers' Association to bring forward Week 17 of the league to December 30th and 31st. As a result, the matches that were to be played on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of January have instead been rescheduled for the last two days of the calendar year.
