Claudio Bravo evolving in recovery, hopeful for weekend return

With the weird goals conceded by Barcelona in the last few weeks, many have pointed to German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen for the problems the Catalans have faced in the defensive department. The starting keeper in La Liga, Claudio Bravo, has been injured for the past few weeks, and fans have clamored for his return. It might happen earlier than we expected.

According to reports coming from Catalonia, the Chilean international is evolving well in his recovery process, which is going faster than anyone expected. Bravo's timetable was set for the next two weeks, most specifically the first game of his national team's campaign in the South American qualifiers, against Brazil in the middle of October. But, because of the rapid evolution of his rehabilitation period, it is possible that Claudio could be available for the weekend game, on Saturday against Las Palmas.

If Bravo takes part in the training session on Friday and does well, he might take part on the squad list for the Camp Nou match, although it would be difficult for him to start over Ter Stegen this early with just one day of practice. However, it'd be great to see him in uniform anyway. Even from the bench, it looks like the defense is better if Bravo is around.
