After last week's victory at Olot, FC Barcelona B tried mightily but could not add a second consecutive victory, and remain winless at the Mini Estadi after playing to a 0–0 stalemate with visiting Hercules on Sunday. Playing against a team with a deep history in Spanish football, Barça had the best of intentions, especially in the second half, but were stymied by Hercules' well-disciplined defensive phalanx. Barça B goalkeeper Adrián Ortolá was barely tested. The goalless draw is Barça's second this season and gives the team a total of five points through six games.
