FC Barcelona News: 21 September 2015: Barca Retain 100% Record, Barca B Pick Up First Win

Lionel Messi tallied his first two goals of the season as FC Barcelona ran away from Levante in the second half on Sunday night, winning 4–1 at Camp Nou. Defender Marc Bartra opened the scoring five minutes after the break and was quickly seconded by Neymar. After a Messi penalty kick that seemed to slam the door shut, Levante’s Víctor Casadesús provided his side a brief glimmer of hope before Messi threw away the key with a killer strike in the waning moments.
Defender Marc Bartra, the first scorer of the night was one of the players who spoke to the media after FC Barcelona's 4-1 victory against Levante. Bartra's goal, which opened the scoring, was not in the script. "What I like is to steal balls and do everything related to defense, but if I score a goal obviously that's also good. However, the most important thing is to help the team." He gave much of the credit to the assist from Messi: "Leo put the ball right on my chest. Passes like that make it easier. Scoring when the team needs you, that's the best."
In his post-match press conference, Enrique spoke about his interesting line-up and stated that the match broke open due to his side wearing down Levante’s defence throughout the goalless first half. "Is missing some penalties the only thing that makes him human? No. That isn’t what makes him human because he went on to score two goals and gave one assist. There’s very little about Messi that is human."

Will Stability Breed More Success for Barcelona? - Football Features

In contrast to the previous two years Barcelona have enjoyed the calm of a summer without major changes on and off the pitch after claiming a second treble in six years. Success breeds stability, but the lack of movement in the transfer market was partly imposed on the club as it served the last of a two-window ban on registering players for breaking FIFA rules in signing minors.
