WATCH: Philippe Coutinho Did His Thing in Barcelona Debut
The ex-Liverpool star had an assured first outing at Camp Nou
FC Barcelona beat Espanyol 2-0 on the night, and advanced into the Copa del Rey semifinals with an aggregate score of 2-1.
Besides the result, the greatest interest came from the debut of new signing Philippe Coutinho.
The ex-Liverpool star made an appearance off the bench, replacing Andrés Iniesta in the 68th minute, and he looked totally in sync with the team. That’s very good considering he just came back from injury and, well, hasn’t played with these guys long.
