Former Barcelona star Patrick Kluivert has told his son Justin to choose Barcelona over a move to Manchester United. He said: “Of course, I prefer that he goes to Barcelona but in football everything can happen. He’s an adult, he can make his own decisions but he’s already said it’s a dream for him to play for Barcelona. But you never know in football.”

Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli will take no risks against Italy and will rest Lionel Messi. The Barca ace has had tests on an adductor injury and medical staff have advised him against playing on Friday. Messi has been training with the Argentina squad and they will check how he is feeling before the game but it looks as though he’ll sit this one out. Yay!
