Ratings: Sevilla 0-5 Barcelona
Jasper Cillessen
Showed brilliant vision and passing ability to find Philippe Coutinho for the opener and picked up a clean sheet to boot.
Rating: 8.5
Sergi Roberto
Had a pretty comfortable night at right-back, looked full of energy and had no real problems.
Rating: 7
Gerard Pique
The midweek rest seemed to have helped him out and like Roberto he had few troubles. Played a part in the third goal and looked like he was enjoying himself out there.
Rating: 7.5
Samuel Umtiti
Looked much better than in recent weeks and almost got himself on the scoresheet too.
Rating: 7
Jordi Alba
Sevilla offered very little but when it did come it usually came down the Barcelona left and Alba was kept busy. Posed a threat going forwards and set up Messi with a brilliant backheel.
Rating: 8
Philippe Coutinho
Made a big contribution to Barcelona’s victory. Set up Luis Suarez for the opener after latching onto Cillessen’s pass. Also got his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot after he’d scored but play had been pulled back for a Clement Lenglet handball.
Rating: 8.5
Ivan Rakitić
Made a welcome return from injury against his former side and maintained the form he’s shown all season.
Rating: 7.5
Sergio Busquets
Calm and composed and even tried his luck with a shot but could not add to Barca’s tally.
Rating: 8
Andrés Iniesta
Let’s face it this was his last final in a Barcelona shirt and he signed off in some style. Flawless in possession, unlucky not to score with a brilliant shot that hit the crossbar and then did get on the scoresheet and it all got a bit emotional. He will be sooo missed.
Rating: 10
Lionel Messi
Had a brilliant free kick saved by the goalkeeper but grabbed the second after a delightful backheel from Alba. Set up Suarez and Iniesta and was just an absolute joy to watch all night long.
Rating: 9.5
Luis Suárez
Scored two, linked well with Messi and was a right old handful. Is the man for the big occasion as he has now scored in every final he’s played in for Barcelona.
Rating: 9
Paulinho
Given the last 15 minutes as Busquets had a breather.
Rating: 7
Ousmane Dembele
Came on for the last 10 minutes.

Denis Suarez
Came on with just minutes to go.

The Team
Barcelona’s best performance of the season. Brilliant football, superb goals and deserved winners.
Rating: 10
Ernesto Valverde
His team selection was no surprise and he reaped the benefits of resting the team in midweek. The players certainly seemed to be playing for the manager and Valverde picks up his first serious silverware as Barcelona boss with an emphatic and impressive win.
Rating: 8
Man of the match
Iniesta. What an absolute legend.
