Ronaldinho: ‘Paulinho is Showing His Quality’
The Brazilian legend praised his compatriot
Former FC Barcelona and Brazil legend Ronaldinho has spoken out in praise of current FC Barcelona and Brazil midfielder Paulinho. Paulinho’s summer transfer from Guangzhou Evergrande was controversial, but Ronaldinho says that the midfielder has overcome expectations:
“I’m not surprised. Everyone in Brazil already knew [what he could do] due to the excellent work he did at Corinthians. He really stood out. He went to a league that isn’t that visible, globally [the Chinese Super League], but everyone knows about his quality, and he’s showing that once again.”
Ronaldinho recently announced his retirement from football.
