Rumors: Pavon, Pjanic, Digne, Lenglet & Vidal

Barcelona interested in Cristian Pavón

Today’s rumors start off with a report from South America which reckons that Barcelona have been in touch with Boca Juniors to talk about Cristian Pavon.

The club want to find out his release clause and the 22-year-old’s current situation at the club, according to Argentina’s Radio Continental.

Lionel Messi was full of praise for his new Argentina team-mate after the two linked up well during Argentina’s friendly win over Haiti.

Juventus want €80m for Pjanic

Over in Italy and Tuttosport are reporting that Juventus have slapped an €80 million price tag on Miralem Pjanic.

Juve don’t particularly want to allow Pjanic to leave, but if he asks to go they won’t stand in his way but will demand big money for the midfielder.

The Italian champions are quite keen on Sergej Milinković-Savić, so if Pjanic leaves they could move for the Serbian.

Bayern Munich keen on Digne

Back in Spain and El Desmarque report that Bayern Munich fancy making a move for Barcelona left-back Lucas Digne.

The Bundesliga champions want to strengthen their defence as both Juan Bernat and Jerome Boateng could depart this summer.

Digne is very much back-up to Jordi Alba at the Camp Nou, and it would not be a huge surprise if he were to leave.

Manchester United join Lenglet race

To France now and L’Equipe are reporting that Manchester United have joined the race to sign Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet.

Barcelona have been heavily linked with the centre-back, but the Red Devils are also keen as they want to strengthen their defence.

Lenglet now looks as though he must choose between heading to Barca or Manchester United if he decides to leave Sevilla this summer.

Valencia reject chance to sign Aleix Vidal

And finally today we end with news that Valencia have turned down the chance to sign Aleix Vidal, for now at least.

According to Superdeporte, Valencia have been considering a move for the Barcelona man and discussed a deal in a meeting between the club’s chiefs in Singapore.

However, it was decided that they won’t move for Vidal at the moment because they’d rather sign a more defensive-minded player.
