OFFICIAL: Andre Gomes loaned to Everton

The midfielder heads to Goodison Park

No sooner had Barcelona confirmed they have sold Yerry Mina to Everton then they also revealed they have loaned Andre Gomes to the Toffees too.

“The English club will pay FC Barcelona 2.25 million euros for the season long loan and will also pay the player’s wages,” read a club statement.

Gomes joins Lucas Digne and Mina in making the move to Goodison Park and will be hoping for a fresh start after a pretty torrid time at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona have done a decent job trimming their squad with Gerard Deulofeu, Paulinho, Digne, Aleix Vidal, Mina and Gomes all having departed so far.

A move for Marlon Santos also looked to be on the cards but appears to have fallen through due to work permit problems.
