Miranda says he’s not ready for the first team yet
The left-back thinks it’s still too early
Juan Miranda says he’s not ready for the Barcelona first team yet despite becoming something of a regular in training sessions.
Both Miranda and Riqui Puig have been called up to train with the first team this season, but the 18-year-old left-back was quick to point out he’s still a Barcelona B player.
“It’s still early for the first team,” he said. ”Yes, it’s true that I’m training a lot with them, but my place is at Barça B.
“Jordi [Alba] always tells me to be calm. The experience of being with them makes me better. It’s a dream They remind me to go little by little and be calm.”

Barcelona are lacking in options at left-back after Lucas Digne left for Everton over the summer. Miranda seems to be close to making the breakthrough to the first team, although reports in Spain today claim Ernesto Valverde wants to bring in a new left-back.
Miranda made the difference for Barcelona B on Sunday, as it was his cross which caused the own goal as Garcia Pimienta’s side picked up their first win of the season.
