A look at the latest gossip

Ronald Koeman reportedly wants to make Sergino Dest his first signing as Barcelona boss.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the right-back is well-liked by the Dutch coach but Barca are likely to face competition from Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions have already been in touch with Ajax to talk about a deal but have not yet made an acceptable offer.

Barcelona, as we already know, are struggling to finance any deals and are thinking about a loan with a mandatory purchase option for 2021.

Of course one way they would be able to buy Dest is if Nelson Semedo was sold. MD have two reports on the Portugal international on Friday, the first suggesting the full-back is expecting to leave this summer.

The second claims his agent, Jorge Mendes, has a big offer from a Premier League club which is thought to be Wolverhampton Wanderers

There is a growing Portuguese influence at Molineux with coach Nuno Espirito Santo and players such as Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, and Diogo Jota in the squad.

Wolves have also recently signed Porto forward Fabio Silva for a club-record fee on a five-year deal but have sold Matt Doherty to Spurs, meaning they might be in the market for a new right-back.
