Ten Barcelona players nominated for FIFPro World XI
Andres Iniesta & Yerry Mina also make the shortlist
FIFA have announced the nominees for the FIFPro World XI, and there are 10 Barcelona players on the shortlist.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen has been nominated as one of the top five goalkeepers along with Gianluigi Buffon, Thibaut Courtois, David De Gea and Keylor Navas.
Defenders Gerard Piqué, Samuel Umtiti and Jordi Alba are also on the shortlist as part of the top 20 defenders.
Midfielders Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, Philippe Coutinho and Sergio Busquets make the list, as do forwards Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
Here’s a look at the 55 players who have been nominated. Votes are cast by 25,000 professional players from 65 countries who are asked to chose the best players of 2017-18.

The World XI team must consist of one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards. The final team will be revealed during the Best FIFA Football Awards on September 24.
