Barcelona want Dembele to make ‘lifestyle changes’ - report

The club still think he has a big future at Camp Nou

Barcelona reportedly believe Ousmane Dembele needs to make “lifestyle changes” if he is to fulfil his potential and become a top star.

According to ESPN, the French youngster does not yet have the requisite “lifestyle and professionalism” required by the Spanish champions.

However, he retains the club’s backing and they have absolutely no intention of selling him, according to the report.

Dembele had attracted headlines this week, mainly because he was left on the bench against Inter Milan with Rafinha preferred in his place.

There have also been reports he turned up late for the Inter game, and that he’s lost the trust of Ernesto Valverde.

Previous speculation also suggested he needed to improve his diet, although those fears seemed to have been addressed by his good start to the season when he scored five goals in his first six games.

The best way for Dembele to answer his critics is on the pitch. The problem is at the moment he’s having to watch most of the action from the bench.
