Dembele apologized to the Barcelona dressing room

The youngster’s gesture went down well

Ousmane Dembele came out and apologized to Barcelona players for showing up late this week. He arrived two hours late for training on Sunday and made things look bad at the club. Dembele was fined a reported 200,000 euros for being late and was told off by teammates and bosses.

Teammate Carles Alena came out and told the press about the apology. He backed Dembele as well, which is exactly what the Frenchmen needed.

“He apologised to the dressing room. We accepted it. He knows he’s done wrong. He’s a good kid, we’re with him until the end. We have to show him affection.”

As it turned out the apology seemed to have motivated and freed Demebele for the midweek Champions League game against Tottenham. The winger started against Spurs and scored an amazing goal. Hopefully, the apology is a good refresh for Dembele into the holidays and tougher Champions League games next year.
