Ernesto Valverde has called up 18 players for the deciding match at Camp Nou
The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana welcome Levante to Camp Nou for the second leg of their Copa del Rey Round of 16 matchup having to overcome a 2-1 deficit, and Ernesto Valverde has called up the following 18 players to be in uniform on Thursday night:
Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Jasper Cillessen
Defenders: 2. Nélson Semedo, 3. Gerard Piqué, 15. Clément Lenglet, 17. Jeison Murillo, 18. Jordi Alba
Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 5. Sergio Busquets, 6. Denis Suarez, 7. Philippe Coutinho, 8. Arthur, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. Carles Aleñá, 22. Arturo Vidal
Forwards: 9. Luis Suárez, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Ousmane Dembélé
After resting his main players in the first leg, Valverde doesn’t mess around and calls up all the big boys, including Messi and Suárez. Malcom is the only one missing out per the manager’s decision, as Sergi Samper, Thomas Vermaelen, Samuel Umtiti and Rafinha can’t play due to injury.
