Barcelona are pushing to bring Toulouse defender Jean-Clair Todibo to the club before the transfer window shuts, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC. Barca confirmed earlier in January that they had reached an agreement for Todibo to join them in the summer when his contract with Toulouse expires.

Barcelona have overseen seven deals this month by allowing Munir El Haddadi and Denis Suarez to leave, whereas Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jeison Murillo, Frenkie de Jong and Jean-Clair Todibo have been brought in, though the latter two will arrive in the summer; Carles Alena has also been promoted to the first team.

Barcelona have completed the loan signing of Sao Paulo forward Gabriel Novaes with an option to buy, according to Globoesporte. El Mundo Deportivo cite the reports in Brazil that a deal has been done for Novaes to join the club and he will undergo his medical on Wednesday afternoon.
