Tuchel says ‘anything can happen’ with Rabiot

Reports claim he’s agreed a deal with Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel offered an update on Adrien Rabiot’s situation at the club in his pre-match press conference on Saturday.

There were widespread reports on Friday that Barcelona have agreed a five-year deal with the midfielder, and he will move to the Camp Nou on a free in the summer.

Here’s what Tuchel has had to say about the 23-year-old who is out of contact at the end of the season.

“The situation is not easy for him, he is not the first player with a problem like that in the dressing room but he is working like everyone else and is still very professional,” he said.

“It is what I expect from him and I am convinced that it will stay like that. We must be professional too.

“The dressing room knows this situation. It is a complicated transfer situation, he is our player and anything can happen. It’s a situation between the club and the player.”

Barcelona have already admitted they’re interested in the player, and it does seem Rabiot has played his last game for PSG and will be wearing Barcelona’s colours next season.
