Samuel Umtiti sends positive message after reports he’s out for the season

The defender seems in good spirits

Samuel Umtiti has posted a pretty positive message on social media after reports emerged on Wednesday that he could be out for the season.

The defender did specific training, reportedly due to continued knee problems, and might have played his last game for the club this season, according to AS.

However, he posted a message on Twitter later on Wednesday which suggests he’s in good spirits.

The caption translates as: “Everything is going well, in the best of all worlds.”

Umtiti’s only made 10 La Liga starts this season, and one in the Champions League, due to injury. He’s also lost his place as an automatic starter to Clement Lenglet.
