The 2019/20 LaLiga Santander season will start on Friday, August 16 as Athletic Club host Barcelona at the San Mames. LaLiga president Javier Tebas wishes to have one game on Friday, four on Saturday, four on Sunday and one on Monday over the opening weekend of Spain’s top flight.
