The latest round of hot gossip

Barcelona offer €100m plus two players for Neymar

The Neymar to Barcelona rumors show absolutely no signs of slowing down, and we start today’s rumor round-up with the latest from Sky in Germany.

They reckon that Barcelona have offered PSG €100m plus two players from a list of six.

That list includes Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo, and Malcom. There’s another player too, but they don’t seem to know who it is.

At this point, given the state of the rumors flying about, it could literally be anyone. Pick one and make up your own transfer rumor. I’d guess it’s probably Samuel Umtiti.

Dembele the key to Nemar deal

Meanwhile, Marca reckon that Dembele holds the key to any potential Neymar deal because selling the Frenchman could finance a deal for the Brazilian.

However, they reckon that PSG don’t actually want Dembele as he does not have a good relationship with manager Thomas Tuchel.

Step forward Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga giants are keen on Dembele, and if they were to move for him it could free up funds for Barca to land Neymar.

Tuchel called Dembele to try and convince him to move to PSG

Over at Le Parisien it’s a different story entirely.

The French newspaper reports that Tuchel has actually been on the phone to Dembele to try and convince him of a move to Paris Saint-Germain,

The thing is that Dembele is not too interested in leaving Barcelona and told his former boss that he’d rather stay where he is merci beaucoup.

Valdes to return to Barcelona on Friday

And we end with news of an imminent change in the coaching staff, according to Mundo Deportivo.

They report that Victor Valdes will return to the club on Friday to take charge of the Juvenil A side.

He is due to sign a two-year deal at the Camp Nou, and the club hope his experience and knowledge will inspire a new generation.
