These are the latest Barça rumors

Barça accelerate Neymar talks, PSG willing to play ball

More Neymar rumors! This time it’s from RMC Sport, who claim that Paris Saint-Germain are finally willing to accept offers from Barcelona after the player made it very clear that he only wants a move to Camp Nou. Barça are aware of Real Madrid’s interest and according to report there was a recent meeting between Barça and PSG to formally express the Blaugrana’s wish to sign the player.

They won’t change their approach, though: Barça will only make a deal if it’s a straight player swap with a discount on the money figure, or a loan with an option to buy. According to the report PSG are willing to talk about a possible deal in those terms, and after the club’s Ultras made it very clear how much they hate Neymar at the Parc des Princes on Sunday, a deal may go through a lot sooner than we expected just to keep things peaceful.

And if PSG are willing to accept a player swap...

Coutinho the key to Neymar deal

The same report from RMC mentions that PSG are very interested in taking Philippe Coutinho as part of the deal, which is the first time we’ve heard of that in this whole saga. PSG’s stance the whole time has been no Coutinho or Ivan Rakitic, but the clock is starting to tick and if the Real Madrid offer isn’t good enough and Neymar very clearly wants to go to Barça, they might be left with no choice but to take Coutinho in the end.

Barça remain patient and want a deal on their terms, and if this report is to be believed they might be getting their wish. We’ll just keep waiting and hoping for this whole thing to end.

Rafinha very close to Valencia

We’ve heard of this for weeks and the deal almost died a week ago, but it’s back on now and things should move very quickly this week, according to multiple reports in Spain. Rafinha wants to join Marcelino García’s side and Valencia will meet with Barça this week to discuss a deal, but right now they disagree strongly on the price: Barça want 15 million euros or 10 million plus variables, while Valencia only want to pay 5 million plus variables to give them some insurance with a player that has suffered so many injuries in his career.

The expectation is that both teams will eventually work out a deal that’s reasonable for both since the two sides are very interested in making it happen and the player has given his green light to the transfer. We may have an official announcement this week, but they’ve got to agree a deal first.
