I wish I could write this beautiful piece and preview why this is a tough game for Barça and highlight all the tactical aspects that make Villarreal a difficult opponent and everything Barça need to do to win this game.
But I can’t. I’m frustrated with this team, I’m in pain because of this team, and I just want this to end. I want this team to stop being so awful, I want the players and the board to stop using the manager as a shield and actually do their job, and I want the manager gone.
Just win, Barça. Win and give me a reason to be a little happy for once. Is that too much to ask?
POSSIBLE LINEUPS
Barcelona (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Semedo, Piqué, Lenglet, Firpo; Vidal, Busquets, Arthur; Messi, Suárez, Griezmann
Villarreal (4-3-3): Asenjo; Peña, Albiol, Torres, Quintilá; Anguissa, Iborra, Cazorla; Chukwueze, Gerard, Ontiveros
PREDICTION
We’re at home, there’s all this pressure, Valverde’s job may be on the line, so we all know exactly how this is gonna go: 5-1 Barça. And that’s why this team is so frustrating.
