Ter Stegen nominated for UCL Player of the Week
The Barcelona goalkeeper starred in Dortmund
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is one of four players to be nominated for UEFA’s Champions League Player of the Week award.
The German produced a brilliant display against Borussia Dortmund to help the visitors secure a 0-0 draw at the Westfalenstadion.
Ter Stegen foiled international team-mate Marco Reus on several occasions, most notably from the penalty spot after Nelson Semedo had fouled Jadon Sancho.
His performance did not go unnoticed, with the German up for the award along with hat-trick heroes Erling Braut Haaland and Mislav Orsic as well as Angel Di Maria.
