Todibo and Araujo debut at the Camp Nou | FC Barcelona
It was a day of defensive firsts at the Camp Nou on Sunday. With Clément Lenglet banned from playing against Sevilla after being handed a red card against Getafe, and Samuel Umtiti still injured, Jean-Clair Todibo partnered Gerard Piqué in central defence with Barça B’s Ronald Araujo replacing the young Frenchman in the second half.

Last night wasn’t just any other for Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan defender, a regular B team starter, was handed his debut as a substitute against Sevilla when Jean-Clair Todibo got tired. However he ended up being cruelly sent off by Mateo Lahoz, who thought he fouled Chicharito when he did no such thing.

FC Barcelona have informed Víctor Valdés on Monday that he is no longer U19A coach and no longer employed by the Club. Franc Artiga, up till now coach of the U19B and part of the youth set up at La Masia since 2010, will take over as coach of the U19A.
